Chocolate Ship Ice Cream and Ice Cream a la Mode (?)

Ahhh, what a difference a day makes. So this morning we woke up to rain and I was definitely not motivated to ride AT ALL and I guess Kathy was feeling the same so we decided to stay and REST all day and it was GREAT! We lounged in the room all morning while it rained outside. I decided to splurge and get my first Thai massage so I arranged it at the hotel and paid 240 BAHT (about $5.50) for a 2-hour massage and it was WONDERFUL! It was exactly what I needed. The woman was tiny but SO STRONG. I guess the Thai massage works all the pressure points/meridians in the body and I definitely felt it all being restored. It was great. That’s pretty much all I did today besides check email.

Kathy and I just had dinner at the hotel and we had a good laugh at the menu. Sometimes the English translations are SO FUNNY! Here are just a few:

-Chocolate Ship Ice Cream
-Ice Cream a la Mode (?)
-Saut?ed Macaroni
-Sandich Chip Potato

(I wish I had ordered the Ice Cream a la Mode just to see what it would be.)

Have I mentioned that they drive on the left side here?

Today I bought a roll of film that came with a free drinking glass when purchased. I tried to tell them that I didn’t need the glass but they kept telling me it was free so it was easier to just take it. I’ll leave it in the hotel room I guess. It’s always an adventure no matter what you’re trying to do.
