No rat, but chicken fat??

Day #10. All is well. The Rat never came out last night at all so there was no battle (yet). We will see what happens tonight.

This morning after my 7am detox drink, I rode my bike into town to call home and say Happy Thanksgiving. There they are exactly 12 hours behind so everyone had just finished stuffing themselves with a turkey dinner. I think my Pop-Pop (who is hard of hearing) thought he heard me wrong when I told him that I had had veggie broth for my Thanksgiving dinner. He said, “Oh…well was it NICE??”

Today was a typical day of internet/website stuff, relaxing on the beach for a bit, Ampuku massage, evening walk, and chatting with other fasters.

I was really glad that I decided to continue the fast today when I saw 2 big pieces of ‘chicken fat’ come out in my afternoon colema. It’s called chicken fat because that’s exactly what it looks like but it is really a thick layer of mucoid plaque. It was pretty thick. What a feeling to get something like that out, knowing that it could have just festered in there for the rest of my life. I am definitely going for 14 days now!
