My new breakfast friend

It’s been raining here for the past 2 days. It’s been ok for me though – spent my time reading books and working on one of my jigsaw puzzles. I’m ready for the sun now… hope it comes back tomorrow.

Met a new person today – my ‘breakfast friend’ – Martin, from Montreal. He’s staying at the place where I have breakfast every morning (one of the best kept secrets on Lanta is their mueslix, fruit and yogurt). Anyway, we’ve seen each other there 2 mornings in a row and yesterday when he saw me on the beach he said, ‘Oh it’s the breakfast lady!’ I said if you’re there tomorrow we’ll chat. So today we had breakfast together.

Spent the afternoon chatting over coffee and coconut shakes with Martin and 2 other girls…not much to do in the rain here besides read or talk so we talked.

Everyone is hoping for sun tomorrow.
