Relax and Rejuvenate…

Day #7 of the Fast! In just over 24 hours we will be eating blessed food again! Actually I am feeling better today than any other day so far. It’s been a good cleanse for me. I think I definitely got out a lot of’old’ toxins that were festering all the way up in the small intestine. I’ve actually been able to takle in 8 liters of water during my colemas without releasing – imagine how far up that must get! (You can tell from the shape of what’s coming out where it came from in your colon – whether it’s large or small intestine, transverse colon, descending colon, etc. so you are able to determine how far you have’cleaned’, just in case you were wondering.) Every fast I have done has been different in terms of what I’m releasing, how I’m feeling, and the way I feel at the end. And it gets better every single time, making me more and more convinced that it is the right thing to do for your body.
Oh yeah, and Dad, well he’s doing great. He’s been having really good’results’ during his colemas and he says he feels great. I’m so glad that he came here to experience it for himself! It’s so hard to convince someone about the benefits of fasting if they’ve never done it or considered it before, but it’s incredible to watch them do it for themselves and feel it for themselves and actually get into it! For me I think this fast has put me in the perfect state of mind and body to enter into a ten-day vipassana meditation which is what I hope to do next.
So, highlights of the fast:
1. Massage Course (which I’m currently on Day 5 of 7).
At the end of the day, I have to admit that I do prefer getting massages to giving them. But I think once I have more practice and I get all the positions right I’ll really be pleased with having this new skill. The teacher, Dtoh, has been great and I would highly recommend her.
2. Staying at Long Island Resort.
A much better choive than staying at the Spa. It’s only a few minutes walk from the Spa, has much nicer accomodation, and best of all, has a great pool.
3. Getting Dad to come here.
That’s actually the best highlight of all, to have been able to convince him to do a fast (after many pleading emails believe me) and then to come here and do it – in a beautiful place with all the ammenities. I hope he realizes what a great thing he’s done for his body. Mom, you’re next! (OK, she did have a good excuse this time as she’s been in China with her girlfriend, but next time I’ll get her in on it!).
TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: Sorry about the lapse in entries over the last week…normally I am really good with keeping this thing updated but what can I say, I needed a little break from the website. I’m back on track though now, and I’ve just added a few more pics from before. So you can check out new photos added for 4.20.02 and 4.25.02 to see the scorpion, spider, and other friends made on Ko Lipe, Thailand. Also I added new pics for 5.21.02 which include the really cool and’hot’ fire dance shots from Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Thanks for being patient!
