4am – Wake up
Mindful walking meditation practice
Mindful sitting meditation practice
6am – Breakfast. Eat slowly, mindfully, and preferably alone. No talking.
More sitting and walking meditation
10:30am – Lunch. No solid food allowed after lunch. Fruit juice or plain yogurt ok.
More meditation (7 to 14 hours per day)
10:00pm – Sleep
Sitting practice – rising, falling, rising, falling, etc.
Walking practice – Standing, standing, standing. Preparing to walk (x3). Right goes thus, left goes thus, etc. Stopping, stopping, stopping. Entering to turn (x3). Turning (x4). Standing (x3). Preparing to walk (x3). Right goes thus, left goes thus, etc.
Status: Thoughts are putting up a good fight. Day 1 almost done. I can handle another 9 ok. Already looking forward to real food on the ‘outside.’
