What’s in the blood

January 3rd, 2004 at 12:00am

Today Romy (from Israel) and I went into Chaweng for a ‘dead blood analysis’. It was at the Kwan Jai International Health Spa and cost $60 USD. Basically they look at your blood on a slide in a microscope and are able to see any disease or illness in your body from that. My analysis revealed mostly what I knew already which was free radicals in the system, parasites everywhere, and also heavy metal poisoning. Thankfully nothing else! It was very interesting actually looking at your blood on a tv screen and seeing all the bad stuff in there!

Afterwards we went to Starbucks and poisoned our bodies with coffee. Actually Romy abstained because Randy told him no coffee (type O blood), but I was allowed and indulged (type A blood). Romy was the one who really wanted coffee so he was eyeing me with envy the whole time!

Then we went to another resort to meet some of Romy’s friends. We discussed whether or not we’d been ‘had’ with the whole dead blood analysis thing, and decided in the end that it was worth the money for the diagnosis and information, but their treatments there are definitely too expensive for us to afford, and really when they do the analysis they are hoping that you sign up for their treatment program. Hey, why not trying everything once though eh?
