Mini fasting

January 7th, 2004 at 12:00am

Well it’s 10:30pm and it looks like I survived my juice fasting day. My plan is to try to incorporate 1 day of juice fasting per week into my life, my New Year’s resolution I guess. Apparently if you fast 1 day/week for 7 years then you have done the equivalent of one year of fasting!! Mostly all the health gurus agree that the one day/week fast is very beneficial to the body because it gives the digestive system and organs a rest and allows your body to cleanse and rebalance itself.

It was a rainy day on Samui, the perfect day for a Thai massage and an afternoon of the Chinese Oolong tea ceremony with San Bao. As usual, I met some good people there – one American girl living in Saigon, and 2 other guys living in Korea (one American, one Canadian). This evening we were lucky enough to have a guy playing digerydoo at the Spa – never thought I’d see that in Thailand!
