International friends

Lazy day – windy, rainy – not much motivation to do anything beach-y. I sat and talked with Hajar (from Hawaii) and Justis (UK) in the morning and then finally got away in between showers to try to get a ride to Chaweng. No luck with saungtaws or hitching, but luckily San Bao saw me on the road and offered me a ride on his motorbike. Because of that I got to go to Tesco which was good because I supplied up for my border run to Malaysia in 2 days.

Once I was dropped off in Chaweng I started walking up the ‘strip’ and somehow got the urge to shop. Lucky me I found a few good sales! Finally made it to the gym and then back to Lamai for a nice evening chatting with Suzanne (an American living in Vietnam), Sara (a Canadian living in Japan), Paul (a Canadian living in Korea), and San Bao (a German living in Thailand).
